Architectural Record ranked WRA #141 on their 2023 list of Top 300 Architecture Firms. The annual ranking is determined by revenue for architectural services performed the previous year.

The Baltimore Business Journal ranked WRA as the 26th largest private company in the Baltimore area. The rankings are published annually and based on the previous year’s revenue.

Howard County's Complete Streets Policy Earns National Recognition.

Howard County Maryland's Complete Streets Policy has earned national recognition for a perfect score from Smart Growth America. WRA provided consulting services and facilitated a Complete Streets Implementation Team, comprised of internal and external stakeholders, to create the policy and develop updates to the Complete Streets and Bridges section of the Howard County Design Manual. Earning a score of 100% also ranks Howard County’s Complete Streets Policy #1 in the nation out of 157 policies evaluated. 

Casho Mill Road Clankers. .

In response to over 70 overheight vehicles striking the CSXT bridge along Casho Mill Road over the past decade, WRA designed an overhead deterrent to alert drivers that the bridge is too low to safely pass under. DelDOT implemented a system consisting of a series of “clankers," installed in conjunction with dynamic warning systems that include signage and flashing lights. The clankers are comprised of heavy-duty plastic suspended from steel mast arms that span the roadway.
