Education.

With over 20 years of creating sites that foster successful learning environments, WRA recognizes the site accessibility, safety, circulation, parking, utility infrastructure, and recreational design elements that are unique to K-12 and higher education facilities.

With expanding populations, and a dwindling supply of available land, WRA has implemented innovative civil engineering solutions such as large scale onsite private water and wastewater systems to address challenging site constraints.  We design internal circulation improvements to K-12 bus loops/parking to accommodate changing patterns in the way students arrive at school.  Stormwater management facilities such as rain gardens and permeable paving are integrated into site amenities to satisfy environmental regulations and provide environmental education opportunities.  Artificial surfacing materials are utilized for playfield and playgrounds to improve performance and reduce maintenance costs.  As schools invest in facilities that support modern learning programs, WRA continues to work closely with our clients and strive to find the best site solutions for each project.
