Port of Seattle Consolidated Rental Car Bus Maintenance Facility. SeaTac, Washington.
The Port of Seattle constructed a new consolidated rental car facility at SeaTac International Airport. A new facility was needed to operate and maintain the rental car transportation fleet.
WRA was the Maintenance and Operations Planner for the design team providing conceptual and functional planning as well as equipment selection. The new facility was constructed in the operations portion of the airport property. The complex includes bus transportation offices, drivers’ areas, bus maintenance areas and fuel and wash. The fleet is entirely CNG and the facility includes a CNG compressor station and fueling island.
