The facility includes maintenance bays and drive-through bus wash. A 41,000 SF bus storage building houses 70 buses. A two-story, 36,000 SF administration building houses multiple department staff including transportation, purchasing, parts storage, and public works, while a 7,000 SF public safety support building accommodates storage for public safety equipment and vehicles. Separate building components accommodate police storage, emergency response storage, and beach patrol. A 340-space parking structure provides secure parking for police, public works and transportation staff. A portion of the first floor of the garage provides a bus queuing area, and the upper deck serves as a helipad for emergency services and the US Coast Guard. New fuel islands, with dispensers and canopies for all vehicle types aligns with new site circulation patterns while accommodating cleaning and maintenance procedures.
