Central Maryland Transportation Maintenance Facility. Howard County, Maryland.

A new building housing vehicle maintenance shops and administration areas was constructed for Howard County to support bus maintenance activities.

The mechanical systems included gas fired packaged VAV rooftop heating / cooling units, heat recovery ventilation units with carbon monoxide controls, vehicle exhaust systems, and a building automation system.    WRA provided LEED fundamental commissioning of the MEP systems providing support during the construction and acceptance phases of the project. WRA performed multiple site visits and led the functional testing process to verify that the newly installed systems were installed and operating according to the design requirements.  The commissioning process facilitated the identification and successful resolution of multiple issues prior to the completion of the project.
