2016 ACEC/MW Engineering Excellence Honor Awards.
Baltimore, MD - WRA’s Ballenger-McKinney ENR Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion project, 26th Street Emergency Repair & Retaining Wall Reconstruction project, and Montebello Plant 2 Finished Water Reservoir project were selected by the American Council of Engineering Companies of Metropolitan Washington (ACEC/MW) as Honor Award Winners for the 2015-2016 ACEC/MW Engineering Excellence Awards.
Project award winners were chosen based on the original or innovative application of new or existing techniques to reach the project solution; the project’s future value to the engineering profession and perception by the public; social, economic and sustainable design considerations; project complexity; and the extent to which the project exceeded the client/owner needs.
