WRA to Present at the PPTA Conference.
WRA is exhibiting at the Pittsburgh Public Transportation Conference from April 19 through April 21, 2016 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Presentations, given by industry experts, will highlight advancements in public transportation as well as discuss some of the challenges that impact it. Presentation topics and roundtable discussions include Maintenance, ITS Technology, ADA Compliance and updates from the Federal Transit Administration.
WRA's Jim Ritchey, along with Kai Monast from the Institute of Transportation Research & Education, are presenting "Transit System Regionalization - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Lessons Learned." The presentation will explain the benefits of regional transit and the political speed bumps that make it challenging. Jim Ritchey possesses over forty years of regional transit experience and Kai Monast adds more than a decade of experience with the North Carolina transit systems.
