WRA Staff Honored at Industry Event.
Two members of the WRA team were recognized at the Chesapeake Tri-Association Conference. Andy Cooper received a George Warren Fuller Award, which is presented annually by the American Water Works Association (AWWA). The award celebrates individuals for their distinguished service to the water supply field and recognizes outstanding leadership and contributions within their AWWA section, commemorating the sound engineering skill, diplomatic talent, and constructive leadership demonstrated by George Warren Fuller. Previous recipients of this award include WRA's founders, Ezra Whitman and Gustav Requardt.
Tim Weaver won the Chesapeake WEA (CWEA) Rising Star Award, which acknowledges a young professional who exhibits extraordinary personal service to the Association. The recipient of this award is recognized for showing promise as a future leader of the Association through distinguished efforts and contributions.
