Dan Beaver Presents at MdQI Conference.
Dan Beaver, from the York/Baltimore office, presented on the Greenmount Avenue Streetscape project at the Maryland Quality Initiative Conference (MdQI) in January. The project won the 2024 MdQI Project of the Year - Under $5 Million.
WRA provided the design and construction phase services for the Baltimore Department of Transportation (BCDOT) project. The project is part of BCDOT’s efforts to promote pedestrian use and improve safety and the overall aesthetic of the corridor. BCDOT and the Department of Public Works collaborated to complete infrastructure upgrades along Greenmount Avenue from East 29th Street to East 43rd Street. Following a one-build philosophy, construction of underground facilities included new water mains and conduit and concluded with surface improvements. Construction activity for the streetscaping began in November 2020 and was completed in December 2022.
