Heritage Community Center. Charles County, Maryland.
Catering to 350 residential dwellings, the community center houses tennis courts, dining and meeting areas and an indoor pool. The facility’s location, on a five acre parcel near a County-owned park and golf course, offers the 55+ year old residents ample opportunities for recreation. WRA provided site and infrastructure engineering services.

Civil/Land Development
Zoning site development plans were prepared for Charles County Planning approval. Final engineering design documents for site grading, parking lots and roads, utility infrastructure, stormwater management facilities, and landscaping were also created
Landscape Architecture
Landscape design around the community center building, parking lot, tennis courts and service area, and in the median around the guard house was provided. Perimeter and parking lot landscaping as well as bufferyard landscaping, screening, and aesthetical purposes on a 5.4 acre parcel were also included.
