Scotland Rec Center Receives LEED Gold Certification.
To support Montgomery County’s green initiatives, the Scotland Recreation Center in Potomac, Maryland incorporated numerous sustainable design elements. These elements included water efficient fixtures, energy efficiency, incorporation of low VOC materials, and water-efficient landscaping. As a result, this facility was just awarded LEED Gold certification! WRA provided architecture, interiors, and mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering for this new 14,000 SF recreation center.
